Introduction

Historically, university studies related to construction have not historically included strong management training. However, this skill has become crucial for professionals in the sector, as many of them move into management roles during their careers.

In response to this need, there is a high demand for construction management training throughout the sector. This includes both the public sector (government) and the private sector (real estate, concessionaires), as well as engineering consultancies and construction companies.

In addition to general management, there is a particular need for training in infrastructure planning and operation, especially for public sector professionals. The future of the sector also lies in concession contracts and in the maintenance of existing infrastructures, which makes these skills even more valuable.

Objectives

  • Analysis of the environment: Develop the ability to analyse the context in which public infrastructures and services are framed.
  • Adaptation: To hone rapid adaptation to new environments in the construction sector.
  • Leadership: Acquire skills in leadership and human resource management.
  • Decision-making: To train for optimal decision making in the context of the construction sector.

Aimed at

  • Civil and environmental engineers, architects and technical architects.
