The Master Thesis represents the last step before finishing the Master Degree at the University. Within the preamble of the University´s regulation, which is the one ruling all the phases of the procedure, the Master Thesis is defined as " An autonomous activity performed by the student with support of one or more tutors where the final result must always be an individual work of the student, which must be defended in front of a court".

For the Master´s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, the Master Thesis must consist on " The development, presentation and defence, once all credits from the study program have been obtained, of an original exercise performed individually in front of a university court. It consists on an integral Biomedical Engineering project of professional nature where the competences acquired during the Degree are demonstrated".
